Breakfast Club

Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School provides Breakfast Club provision for up to 40 children (Y1 – Y6) and up to 24 children (EYFS).

The club operates on school premises in a safe environment and run by a team of high-quality trained staff whose purpose is to make sure the children have the very best start to their day.

Drop off Procedure

Breakfast Club starts at 7:30am and the latest time for admission is 8:20am.

Payment Terms

Breakfast club is £2.50 per session. We recommend that payment is made a minimum of 2 days in advance and a credit balance is maintained at all times.

You must make a payment by the SCOPay app, as we are a cashless school.

Payments are required for all days booked even if the child does not attend, the exceptions being when school is closed/ the child is ill or cancel at least 2 days in advance. You will not be able to cancel bookings on the day of attendance.

Should the child no longer require a place the parent/carer is to advise the School office at least one week in advance, otherwise the parent/carer is still liable for charges. Should the parent/carer fall into arrears, the club will withdraw the child’s place.


The Breakfast Club offers a tasty and healthy breakfast, the most important meal of the day! Choices include:

  • A variety of Cereals – e.g. Cornflakes, Rice Krispies and Weetabix
  • A variety of Drinks - water and milk
  • A variety of Breads - bagels, crumpets and toast with choice of spreads
  • A variety of Yoghurts
  • A variety of Fruits

The Breakfast Club also provides a variety of free play and structured play with a broad range of activities and freedom for children to choose their own activities.

Each morning Mr. Cuming, our PE instructor, takes a selection of children onto the back playground for a range of sports.
