Headteacher's Message

Welcome from the Executive Headteacher and Head of School

With Christ at our centre, we love, listen and learn

Welcome to Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School, an inclusive community where every child is known, valued and loved.

Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, our school is a place where faith, learning and service are at the heart of all we do. Guided by the Gospel Values, we strive to create an environment where children flourish spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally, developing the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to become compassionate, resilient and successful individuals.

At Our Lady & St Joseph, we firmly believe that every child is a unique gift from God, created in His image and likeness. Each child brings their own talents, interests and aspirations, and it is our privilege to nurture these gifts, helping them to discover their potential and achieve their very best.

We are committed to providing an ambitious, engaging and enriching curriculum that inspires a love of learning and encourages children to become curious, reflective and independent thinkers. Through high-quality teaching and meaningful learning experiences, we empower our pupils to develop a lifelong love of learning and the confidence to make a positive difference in the world around them.

Alongside academic excellence, we place great importance on developing character, promoting wellbeing and fostering a strong sense of social responsibility through our commitment to Catholic Social Teaching. We encourage our children to recognise their God-given gifts and use them in service of others, living out our mission through kindness, respect and compassion.

Our dedicated staff work in partnership with families, the parish and the wider community to ensure that every child feels safe, supported and empowered to succeed. Together, we nurture a strong sense of belonging where every member of our community is encouraged to flourish.

We are incredibly proud of our school and hope that our website provides a glimpse into the faith, joy and ambition that make Our Lady & St Joseph such a special place to learn, grow and thrive.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school community.
