RE Inspection Report
Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School was inspected by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate on behalf of the Archbishop of Westminster on 21–22 February 2024. The inspection was carried out under canons 804 and 806 of the Code of Canon Law and fulfils the statutory requirements of Section 48 of the Education Act 2005.
What the school does well:
-
The leadership team works hard to meet the challenges of the local community and actively supports those in need.
-
The school has a calm, respectful atmosphere where all members of the community live out the mission: “With Christ at our centre, we love, listen and learn.”
-
Inclusion is a key strength of the school, with all pupils valued and nurtured with high levels of care and respect.
-
There is a strong relationship between the school and the parish, which supports pupils and families in their faith journey.
-
Leaders and governors have a strong understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for development, and address these through effective training and professional development.
