Working in Partnership with Parents
At Our Lady & St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, we recognise that parents and carers are the first and most important educators of their children. We are committed to building strong partnerships between home and school to support every child's personal development, wellbeing and success.
Throughout the year, parents are invited into school to participate in a range of Stay and Play sessions, classroom experiences and school events, providing valuable opportunities to engage with their child's learning and celebrate their achievements. In addition, we offer a variety of parent workshops designed to share practical strategies, approaches and resources that can be used to support learning and development at home.
These sessions aim to strengthen the partnership between families and school, build confidence in supporting children academically and emotionally, and provide parents with valuable tools to help their children thrive. By working together, we can ensure that every child is nurtured, encouraged and supported to reach their full potential with Christ at the centre of all we do.
