Vision Statement
Our Vision for Inclusion and SEND
With Christ at our centre we love, listen and learn.
At Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School, we believe that every child is a unique and precious gift from God, created with dignity, worth and unlimited potential.
Our commitment to inclusion is rooted in our Catholic faith and Gospel values. We strive to create a school community where every child feels welcomed, valued, respected and able to belong. We recognise and celebrate the diversity of our community and are committed to ensuring that all pupils, regardless of need, ability, background or circumstance, can flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
We hold high aspirations for all children and believe that every pupil has the right to access an ambitious curriculum, experience success and develop the confidence and independence needed for the next stage of their journey.
Through our graduated approach to SEND, we work in partnership with children, families, staff and external professionals to identify needs early, remove barriers to learning and provide the right support at the right time. We are committed to ensuring that every child receives the care, guidance and opportunities they need to achieve their God-given potential.
Our vision reflects our belief that inclusion is everyone's responsibility. Together, we foster a culture of dignity, belonging, compassion and excellence where every child is known, loved and supported to thrive.
