Attendance Matters

Excellent attendance is a key factor in ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. At OLSJ, we know that children learn best when they attend school regularly and arrive on time each day. High attendance allows pupils to benefit fully from our curriculum, build positive relationships, develop confidence and take part in the many enrichment opportunities we offer.

We work closely with families to promote good attendance and celebrate success throughout the year. Each half-term, the class with the highest attendance receives a special reward. Recent rewards have included cinema trips, ice-skating visits and even a visit from the ice cream van. By celebrating attendance, we encourage children to develop positive habits that will support them throughout their education and beyond.
