This week we have made conclusions on how best to take care of our teeth. We understand what can damage our teeth and what type of drinks can be harmful to your enamel. We conducted a fair test using eggs, orange juice, coca cola and water. We saw that the shell of and egg placed in each of these liquids reacted differently. We predicted that coca cola would cause the most damage to the shell and we were right! The shell cracked within a few hours. The juice damaged the colour of the shell. However, the water caused no damage to the shell of the egg, suggesting that our enamel is safe without fizzy and acidic drinks.
