Please remember to get your reading record signed also – indicate the name of the book and pages being read eg. Charlie and the Glass Elevator, Pages 1 – 32. Use the web links on the year 4 page for Numeracy and Literacy games to practise your skills. Homework is due in on Tuesday 3rd July.

Numeracy

Complete the word problems. Remember to use the strategies and methods that we have been learning in school.

Log on to TimesTablesRockstar (link on the blog) and contribute to the Jeremiah Vs Daniel timestable battle. You need to log in and try your best to beat the other class! Daniel class won last week AGAIN.

Literacy

Complete the reading comprehension. Remember, you need to use the text to answer the questions and find evidence, just like in our guided reading sessions.

RE

Read the Mark 2 : 13-17

Discuss this passage with your family. Who are the characters? Where is it set? What is happening?

Compare this story to the “Calling” story where Jesus calls the fishermen. Write down the similarities between these two stories. What do you think this story is teaching us?
