Our Ancient Egyptian Day!

Today we had our Ancient Egyptian Day. The day was jam-packed and full of learning. We looked at the layout of Ancient Egypt and looked at some amazing artefacts from an Egyptian tomb.

Next, we did some Egyptian dancing and moved like a Pharaoh whilst we listened to some Egyptian music.

We then split up into classes and did a Quiz about the eight main areas of Egyptian life. We also looked at how the Egyptians measured using their ‘Royal cubits’.

Finally, we acted out how a mummy would be mummified and did a funeral procession in the hall.

We had so much fun!
