As we are learning about Habitats we went on a trip to Rainham marshes to learn about the different habitats that animals live in. Here are some pictures.
With Christmas fast approaching, Our Lady and St. Joseph’s are holding a Carol service! Please use the link below to find a list of these Christmas Carols we will be singing, even if you’re not taking part, they’re still fun to learn!
We had a fantastic time on our trip to the Rainham Marshes! We took the train to Purfleet and had a lovely walk along the water. When we got to the visitor’s centre, we ate our packed lunches and then were met by Alex. He took us on a tour of the marshes, told us about the different plants and how they spread their seeds. Then we arrived at the pond where we learned about how the organisms there have adapted to suit their environment. We did a dip and found loads of different creatures which we classified using a key. The children absolutely loved it!
