Year 6 Zechariah make Volcanoes

Volcanoes – click the link to have a look at some of our volcanoes.

Year 6 Zechariah have been making paper mache volcanoes in Art over the past couple of weeks. We worked together in small groups and have created some masterpieces!! Some of us have kindly lent our volcanoes to Mr Tadafar (a PGCE student) to share with his younger students. Once Mr Tadafar returns the volcanoes, we will be carrying out science experiments and see who can achieve out the most successful eruption – we hope this goes better than it did for Malachi!

Everyone in the class worked together in a positive way and I was most impressed to see the way every single student pitched in to clean-up the room without fuss. Parents would have been proud! Mrs Cairns.
