LO: To use modelling to describe how the digestive system works.

In today’s lesson, we modeled the digestive system using orange juice, crackers, water and banana. Using these resources, we were able to represent different parts of the digestive system such as the stomach, small intestines and the large intestines. We were able to see how the food churned in the stomach and how the small and large intestines help us get the nutrients we need into the blood stream.
