Create your own Nativity scene based on Matthew’s version of the Nativity Story. You can design this in the art form of your choice, for example 2d or 3d.
This needs to be handed in by Tuesday, 8th November at the latest.
We carried out our first Daily Act of Worship of the term. Our reading was Genesis 1: 1-31. After listening to the word, we created our own thank you letters to God for His creations. Here are some examples:
LO: To memorise the plot of a story through a 3,4,3,4 poem.
To help memorise the plot of Stone Girl Bone Girl, the class was split up into groups and given the task of creating a 3,4,3,4 poem which told their section of story. Each group then performed their poem to the class whereby they were evaluated on what went well and given a next step. Here is the poem we created as a class.

A seaside town, Lived an inquisitive girl, Mary loved Pepper, Pepper told a tale.
Mary sees curiosity! Shining like the Sun. Thinks it’s treasure, Mary dreams about it.
Supportive as ever, Pepper encourages his daughter. He gets weaker, Mary is very alone.
Winter to Summer, Mary’s mother became poor. Sells her curiosities The people loved them.
Mary noticed something! She removed the sand… It was boney! Their lives changed forever.
In Job class the children have been super busy! ‘Today I learned about chemical reactions with vinegar. We created a volcano with one of the reactions and at the end of the week we will send a photo of the effects vinegar has on eggs’ Evie-rose Marks
Bentley has been very busy during lockdown, he has made salt dough, painted pasta jewllery and painted a bird house – he even put it in a tree for the birds to visit! well done Bentley!
Wow! Melanie in Job class has been super busy creating artwork, baking and cooking! Fabulous Melanie, it’s wonderful to see you spending your time at home having such fun!
