Year 2 have been learning all about how to write instructions. Last week we read the story ‘The Light House Keeper’s Lunch’ and we wrote instructions for how to make Mr Grinling’s delicious chicken sandwich. Today, the children followed instructions to make their own ham sandwich. Later this week, they will be writing up their instructions for someone else to follow. Perhaps they could show off their culinary skills at home and make lunch or dinner for their family?
