Homework – 2 February 2017

Hi Parents and Carers,

Sentences

Your child needs to write a sentence for each of the words relating to our RE topic of the Beatitudes.

Maths

We have been learning how to draw arrays to represent multiplication sentences. Your child has received a worksheet with multiplication sentences, and needs to draw the arrays to go with them. To do this, they look at the first number in the equation to determine how many groups there will be, and at the second number to determine how many spots there will be in each group, e.g. In the equation 2 x 3 = 6 there will be 2 groups (2 lines) with 3 spots in each.

Spellings

Please remember to support your child in practicing their High Frequency word spellings and to bring their book in each week. Can you also ensure that your child is learning how to read the 100 High Frequency words in their reading records, as this will really help improve their reading.

Reading

Please read with your child every night and sign the reading record. If you would like your child to keep the book, please just write this in their Reading Record and they can have it until they have finished reading it.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
