Christmas Homework Year 1

Hi Parents,

Christmas is finally here! I hope you all have a lovely break and thank you for all your support this term, the children have been amazing and an absolute pleasure to teach!

There was no homework set for the Christmas holidays, although can you please still read with your children and practice their key words.

We have put together an activity booklet for the children – this does not have to handed back.

Your child needs to write a sentence for each of the words based on number.

Maths

We have been working on multiplication and arraysHomework Sentences 10.12.15 maths homework 10.12-2. Your child will need to complete the worksheet.

Spellings

Do not forget to allow your child to practice their High Frequency word spellings and to bring their book in each week. Can you also ensure that your child is learning how to read the 100 High Frequency words in their reading records.

Reading

Please read with your child every night and sign the reading record.
