Reception week 25.04.23

In Maths, children have continued counting in 2s and 5s. It is a new concept so we are using a bit more time to make sure everyone is able to apply it properly.

In Phonics, we are on set 10 phase 3. Children are applying in their reading and writing all the new digraphs/trigraphs they are learning… good job!!

For Shared Reading, we have read the book “Move over!” It is such a fun book, where children were able to find lots of high frequency words and make lots of comments about the book using long sentences with their “talking partners”

Reception Gruffalo trip!

We have such a lovely day in the Gruffalo tour park! The children enjoyed being out in the nature and having lots of fun activities! Thank you so much for all the parents who came to support us, we are very thankful to you!

RE in Reception 20/4/23

This week we have learnt the story of Jesus appearing to his disciples after his resurrection and telling them he will go to Heaven, not leaving them alone. Children in Reception drew a picture of Jesus on the clouds.
