Rhyming and numbers
This week in Literacy we have been reading rhyming stories and practising bouncing the initial sounds of words. For example “b,b,b,b ball.” In Maths we have been looking at ordering numbers and doing lots of practising by playing different games.

Portraits and names
This week Reception have been painting self portraits, paying close attention to all their features which make them special. We have also been painting names to decorate our walls. This week we are sending home name cards, please support your child to practise writing their name in the precursive style.
