Our Week

This week Samuel class have been busy practising their assembly, the children can’t wait to share their hard work with everyone. The caterpillars are now in a chrysalis and we are patiently waiting for them to turn into butterflies. The children have enjoyed sharing their hard work and teaching each other about how different animals grow. Below are some examples.

Zoo Lab Came to Visit

This week we have been watching out caterpillars grow and carefully looking after them. We were also visited by Zoo lab. The children were excited to see all the mini beasts and got the opportunity to hold some of the animals.

Our Week

This week Reception have enjoyed looking after the ducklings. Everyone got to hold one if they wanted. The children have been busy drawing the life cycle of a duckling. In Maths we have been looking at patterns and creating our own patterns using a range of objects. The ducklings will be leaving us this Friday and they will be missed. We have also been working hard in phonics, below are some links to online games.

Our Week

This week has been a busy week. We went to Stepney City Farm and got to look at some animals as well as explore the role of a farmer, looking at all the produce grown at the farm. The children got to sow some rainbow chard seeds. Some of our ducklings have hatched, the children have been busy naming the ducklings and predicting how many will survive. In Maths we have been learning about sharing. And in R.E we have been learning about the Pentecost story.
