Christmas Stay and Play!

This week the children enjoyed making lots of Christmas crafts with their mum’s, dad’s and teachers to celebrate the end of their first term in school!

The children have also been busy working in groups to order the parts of the Nativity story…they were fantastic at it!

On Wednesday the children enjoyed ‘Christmas Jumper day’ and they had a yummy Christmas lunch and a party in the afternoon!

Many thanks for all of your cards, kind words and presents. Wishing you all a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year! We look forward to hearing the Children’s holiday news in January!

Christmas Nativity

WOW! Well done Reception for all your hard work rehearsing and performing our Christmas Nativity. You were all amazing! Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to watch the children and for all your support.

Here are some pictures of the children in their costumes:

Advent and St Andrews Day!

This week we have been busy preparing for the start of Advent! We made our own Advent calendars and we made whole class ones too. We were very excited to open ‘door’ number 1 today! We hope the children enjoy opening their Advent calendars at home every day and talking about each nativity symbol.

We also enjoyed celebrating St Andrews Day yesterday by wearing blue and learning about how children celebrate in Scotland. We enjoyed making our own Tartan designs and dancing to some highland dancing music!
