In Year 2, children heard the story of the Birth of Jesus. They then created a stained glass illustrating this scene. How amazing and creative!
This term we have been learning about advent. We’ve had great fun learning about this time of year, we even made an advent wreath using our hand prints. We learnt advent is a time of preparation.

Today, we heard a Scripture reading from Mark 1 : 1-8 John the Baptist Prepares the Way. For the task, children had to draw a picture as if they had been to witness this Scripture. Have a look at the great pictures drawn by the children which capture the essence of the Scripture
