This week we have been doing the story ‘We’ll going on bear hunt’ The children looked at the characters and how they were feeling. Encourage your child to retell the story to you and discuss their favourite part.
Here is a link to the story and song.
Listen to Miss Barlow read Goldilocks and the three bears. Draw your favourite part of the story and send it to email@example.com so it can be shared here, on our blog.
This week the children have been learning all about Autumn. We made a collection of leaves, fir cones, sticks and nuts. We then used these to play with alongside our mini me’s. We also created a large autumn tree and made leaves in different ways – painting, leaf rubbings and drawing. We created out own autumn collages using paints and leaves. We look at all the autumn colours we could see and explored this through pictures. We looked at what animals do in the autumn and learnt about hibernation.
