This week we have been exploring one of our new topics; Superheroes. We have got an exciting new indoor role play area take a look:

The children have had a great time enjoying this area and helping Supertato save the vegetables from the EVIL PEA!

We also had a lovely time at our Easter Bonnet Parade. We think everyone would agree that all the children looked fantastic.

The Easter Story!

This week we have been learning the Easter Story. The children have loved learning about all of Jesus’ friends ‘the 12 Disciples’. We have painted them and they are now on display in our classroom. Take a look, they look fantastic.

We have also been talking about how Jesus died to wash away the sins of the world. We spent time colouring clothes to go on our washing line because ‘Jesus washes away our sins’ just like we wash our clothes to make them clean.

Have a great weekend!

Science Week!

This week, we enjoyed experimenting with lots of different media and materials.

Outside, we made magic potions by mixing lots of different ingredients together, such as shaving foam, water, food colouring and vinegar. It was so interesting to see what happened when we mixed everything together, and we had fun making a big mess!

Inside, we made our own jelly, and we were very excited to see the jelly change from a liquid to solid, wobbly jelly after it had been in the fridge. The best part was eating our jelly, of course!

Finally, we also enjoyed watching videos of different Science experiments. Look at our photos:

St Patrick’s Day!

Today, we came to school dressed in green to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. It was so much fun seeing our friends in their special green outfits!

We enjoyed looking at pictures of Ireland, shamrocks and leprechauns, and talking about them. We also watched a video of Lord of the Dance and it was very exciting! We had so much fun clapping and cheering along.

Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone!

What a busy week!

We have been very busy this week! We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday and it was so exciting to see all the children in their costumes and hear all about their favourite books. The children also really enjoyed going to different adults and listening to some of their favourite stories. Look at our amazing photos:

We spent all week making special treats for our mummies for Mother’s Day, and then celebrated with our mums at a lovely Mother’s Day Tea on Friday. The children had so much fun colouring in pictures, reading books and eating special treats with their mums, and sharing their classroom. Thank you to all the mums and special family members and friends who joined us. Here are some of the pictures from the morning:

Have a lovely weekend!
