This afternoon for Art, the students of Zechariah class were using watercolours to create atmosphere in their landscape sketches from last week. They are really coming along nicely; well done, everyone! 🙂
Today, Malachi visited the Natural History Museum and attended an exhibition for topic on volcanoes and earthquakes. They also got to experience what tremors of an earthquake would feel like – within the exhibition. They identified the different tectonic plates. Additionally, they saw the destruction caused by volcanoes and earthquakes of our past.
For Science, children explored the beginning of life on earth, evolution, how fossils are formed and things we learn from them.
