Houses of Parliament- Malachi

Today, Malachi  to explore Houses of Parliament with the help of a tour guide. We got to see a live debate where and MP was trying to get a bill passed. Luckily for us we also got to witness Parliament Ping Pong, where a bill was being passed from the House of Commons to the House of Lords.  Following our tour we got to take part in an election to vote in a Prime Minister. Everyone had to pick their reasons for adding tax to a can of coke and sell their ideas to the rest of the class. Finally, we got to meet our local MP Mr Jim Fitzpatrick and ask him a variety of questions on the work he does to improve our local area.

A huge thank you to Father Keith for celebrating such a special mass in Malachi today. Thank you to the parents for joining in with us also. Well done to everyone in Malachi for planning the whole mass from the hymns to the thoughtfully worded prayers. You should be really proud of yourselves.
