Malachi Ragged Schools

Malachi visited the Ragged Schools in our local community last week. We got to look at a range of artefacts from the victorian school of Thomas Barnardo. Mrs Perkins took over as our teacher for the afternoon and we were in for a huge shock. Every member of the class got to experience what life was like for a child in the Victorian era. Thank goodness we don’t have the cane anymore!!
