Jonah class: Adoration and Benediction

Today, Jonah class went to the church to learn about Adoration and Benediction with Father Keith.

Father Keith explained that Adoration was all about adoring Jesus and how we can do that in our lives. The children were shown the monstrance, with the host placed in the centre. We had some quiet reflection time where we were able to focus solely on the holy sacrament inside the monstrance and think about how and why we love God.

We are all very much looking forward to Father Keith joining us in school on Friday for our procession 🙂

Jonah class had a fantastic time at their Sports Day today.

We were split into groups and given country names. We then had to compete against other countries to rack up the most points and win the top prize. There were lots of different stations with activities laid out for us all to try our best at. A big well done to everyone for competing so well! 🙂
