Homework 18/10/18

Remember to practise your spellings and multiplications and to read your reading record every night (minimum 10 pages). Please remember to get your reading record signed also – indicate the name of the book and pages being read eg. Charlie and the Glass Elevator, Pages 1 – 52. Your spelling test takes place on Friday mornings.

 

Literacy

Next half term in Science, we will be looking at Forces.

Please complete the reading comprehension on Isaac Newton.

Topic

Next half term, we will be learning about Ancient Greece and the Spartans.

Please create your own Spartan helmet or shield for display in the classroom.

 

Numeracy

Complete the worksheets on Roman Numerals.

 

RE

Now that we have finished our lessons for this half term, please go back on the school website and answer the AT2 question again.

  1. Yes because religion gives us a sense and perpose and meaning in life and helps us to make sense of negative things that happen to us and religion can help us make positive changes.

  2. God makes sense of life because if we have faith in God, this will give us a purposeful and meaningful life. Having faith in him really helps are minds show respect to others and know that he wants us to enjoy are world and thank him that we can thrive.

  3. It provides us with a structured view of existence and helps to put order in our lives. Religion teaches us right and wrong and provides a guiding principle based on the teachings of God
