Remember to practise your spellings and multiplications and to read your reading
record every night (30 minutes). Please remember to get your reading record signed also –
indicate the name of the book and pages being read eg. Charlie and the Glass Elevator, Pages 1
– 20. Use the web links on the year 4 page for Numeracy and Literacy games to practise your
skills. Homework is due in on Tuesday 10 th October.

Complete the addition and subtraction sheet that is in your homework books. Remember to
use the column method and carry or borrow when needed!
Literacy
Complete punctuation sheet in your book.
Black History Month
We have been learning about Black History Month and Barack Obama. Research your own
famous historic black figure and write down five things you have found out in your book.
