Religious Education at OLSJ

October 2017

March 2017

During parent/carer consultation evening in March 2017, parents were asked to complete a questionnaire with regard to Religious education at OLSJ and the Catholic life of our school.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we would like to thank all 224 respondents. We will continue to work hard to ensure your child receives outstanding RE provision.

  1. I think welcoming people is important because they will not feel like others who are welcomed; and as an example how would the people who are rude feel like if they weren’t welcomed;those who are not welcomed should be welcomed because they are human like us which means they should be treated the same like us.

    • It is important to welcome people beacause it shows that we are caring for them and it shows we are taking part in the catholic faith

  2. I think that welcoming people is very important because we are in a Catholic church and the Sacraments of Initiation are about welcoming people even if they are different from us because everyone deserves to be welcomed.

  3. I think welcoming people is important, as people are just like us and they are important just like us no matter what they look like or how their attitude is like or how react to something big or small. One life matters. It doesn’t matter on what someone does.We should ALL be treated the same.

  4. I think that welcoming people is important because by welcoming them into the country or to the church we are doing what God asked us to do . For inctance , we welcome people to the church by baptism, eucharyst and confirmation . But to welcome people in the country is harder, we need to make them feel as a part of the world; of the world of God.

  6. I think welcoming people and careing for them is inportant because we are in apart of this Catholic faith amp we must follow it’s rules. We welcome people and always look out for them. We all want to be treated fairly even if we are very different, if we don’t welcome or look after people the world would be harder and worser to live in, and we don’t want that to happen! So please help us show God’s love to one another and help our world to be a better place.
