Sports Person of the year 2018

Congratulations to our 2018 Sports Person of the year!

This young star has been an integral part of almost every team OLSJ has had.

She was phenomenal as our hockey team finished third in the borough championships, losing just one game throughout the qualifier and finals tournaments.

She has been key member of OLSJ’s first ever girls football team, which has also been the most successful football team OLSJ has ever had. They reached the final stages of the region phase of the Premier League Primary Schools Cup, just a few games away from qualifying for the national phase of the competition.

Her sporting abilities all stem from her hard working attitude, determination and enthusiasm for sport. These qualities are always on show during every single PE lesson and even during break and lunch time activities.

A huge achievement for her, was representing the Tower Hamlets district hockey team, playing with the best players within Tower Hamlets and competing against the best from other boroughs.

Despite all of her success, I am most proud to say that this young sports star is incredibly humble, a great sports person, a fierce competitor and an amazing team mate.

Well done and keep up the hard work in your new school!!
